This was so different from other series romance that I'm hoping to find more books in the continuity! It mostly takes place in South Africa with descriptions of food and scenery that were new to me. The female lead is an explosives expert and the hero is former British military who has to prove himself to get on to her team. There's more action/adventure than romance, but you do get a happily ever after. I had no idea this was book 26 and it worked just fine on its own.
