Search - Flashpoint (Troubleshooters, Bk 7)

Part of her SEAL Team 16 series, this is the first book in Tom Paoletti's "Troubleshooters" saga. Starring Decker, Nash and Tess - it takes place in K-stan (aka "The Pit") and has them looking for an elusive laptop belonging to a terrorist who died in a recent earthquake. Nice love triangle between the aforementioned characters and throws in another female American to the mix once they arrive. Not a keeper but I did enjoy the action. Could have used a little more romance and a little less "save the heroine from the bad guys".

Agent meets girl, agent has one night stand. Then agent and girl must pose as man&wife in Kazbekistan while on a mission to rescue a laptop. And they get it on.

I had a really hard time getting into this book. Maybe because it was all new characters and it was a break off from the original team. I literally skipped a bunch and read the end part.

This was definitely not one of my favs from Brockmann.

Great action, suspense, drama, romance and humor.

I have not found one of the troubleshooters series yet that I did not like it is going to be a disappointment to get to the last one. I wish they would keep coming.
