I'm ordering a case and screen protectors on Ebay for my Nook Simple Touch, but until they get here I'd like to make a quick case/pouch. I have yards and yards of fleece. Would that be ok, or would it scratch the touch screen?? I'm just going to sandwich some bubble wrap in between layers of fleece if that won't scratch. I also have some flannel and cotton I could use instead.

Wont hurt it!  I use a Fleece lined eye glass case for my glasses & camera!  But IF you have ordered one why not wait?

Thanks! We're going up north for a long weekend and I've gotta bring my new toy with! :) I could just carry it around in the box, but it's a lot bigger than the Nook and doesn't fit nicely in my purse. LOL

eta: I wasn't planning on making anything fancy. Just slapping something together that would protect it until my actual case and screen protector got here.

They dont scrach that easy...  so relax LOL   You could wrap a Washcloth around it [soft of course] or hand towel or just face it towards the purse side so keys dont hit the screen.
