The disappointing second book of three about British policewoman Grace Flint, now living (mostly) in the US. The author has apparently lost his talent for giving us characters we can care about and whose motivations we can try to understand, and instead we get a bunch of international stick figures. The ending of this one is a real 'Bah! - What a dud!'
