Linda C. (Seagull) reviewed Florida Country Inns: The Complete Guide to 150 Very Special Places to Stay in Florida on
Robert Tolf is THE authority on Florida's restaurants, annually awarding Florida Trend's Golden Spoon award to the state's top restaurants.
And in his 25 years of criss-crossing Florida in search of its best cuisine, he has also sought out and discovered Florida's very special places to stay.
This love affair with country inns blossomed in the 1970s with his first inn book, COUNTRY INNS OF THE OLD SOUTH, which was followed by books on New York and the Mid-Atlantic states.
Then he decided to focus exclusively on his home state, writing a monthly column on Florida Inns for the Ft. Lauderdale Sun-Sentinal, and FLORIDA COUNTY INNS, an inn guide book devoted to his Florida Favorites.
This new, fully revised, second edition of FLORIDA COUNTRY INNS expands the first edition to 150 of his personal discoveries. (back cover)
