I am enjoying this series immensely! Anyone else?

Are these the Leann Sweeney books or the Kate Collins books?

I have a few of the Kate Collins series in my TBR but I have only been able to find the second one of the Leann Sweeney Series. I like to get at least the first 2 or 3 in a series before I start them.

I LOVE this series. They are so cute and I've become rather attached to the characters.  The only two I haven't read are Acts of Violets and A Rose from the Dead. I have them both -just haven't gotten there yet!

Hi Susan!!

Haven't talked to you in awhile. Hope you are well. :)

Maybe I'll read the first one as my next mystery. I love plants and flowers so that was part of my attraction to this series too. Great to hear you liked them so much since we have similar tastes.

This is my favorite cozy series!   They're funny and kind of chick litty.

gosh I guess I"m in the minority..the main character gets on my  nerves :-( the mystery itself ws good though(I've read the first 2) but I get tired of her putting people down, esp her mom, and using the men to get information..of course i might've been in the wrong mood when I read them! but I loved victoria laurie's..could hardly put those down and I don't usually go for the psychic stuff...

I didn't like them either, Susanna. I didn't find the mystery too good and it upset me that everybody decided to kill somebody one after the other so the heroine could have a mystery to solve. I don't think even two months passed and they had 2 or 3 killings in the town!

I am reading A Rose from the Dead right now and am enjoying it. The books are a fun, quick read, which is good because I generally read as I'm shuttling my kids here and there and waiting for them, or as I'm drifting off to sleep. The stories are fairly fun, but I do wish they were spaced out more. Books 1-4  happened within a very short time span.  While some of the characters are very STOCK, I don't expect a whole lot out of series mysteries. That's what makes them the fun, predictable quick read that they are.  I'm actually looking forward to reading the next one when it comes out in August (Shoots to Kill). I'll probably end up buying it because I don't want to wait too long to get it, but who knows. If if goes up on this site, maybe I'll add it to my wish list.

I read the first five. They were OK but didn't really do much for me. I'll eventually read the rest, but I'm in no hurry to do so.

I have enjoyed them and have the last one (I think it is the last one, from late last year) in my TBR pile
