There is no better reading than Rosamunde Pilcher's short stories. Good characters, good plots, fine writing. Set in England.

This author has a warm and gentle style of writing the gets you into the characters hearts and minds within minutes. She can set you in the scene instantly, feelings, tastes, smells and emotional tension. Each of the short stories in this book conveys how ordinary people cope with life, love, pain and loss.I was re-reading a few stories so I could write this review and now I hate to give it up! Enjoy!
