This is a fantastic book for teaching elementary kids about flower structure, pollination, fertilization, seeds and fruit, and germination. it is laid out in a very user-friendly way. The experiments are easy to do and the materials needed are easy to gather or acquire. Each activity outlines a question, describes the materials needed, and has step-by-step directions on how to carry out the activity. Each chapter provides helpful background information for the teacher. This information helps the teacher feel more confident with the experiments and enables him or her to answer questions and lead discussions.
