Joe Johnson is a man with problems of a different nature but he keeps them to himself. He is dedicated to helping young paraplegics gain a better perspective on the many abilities they do possess.
Through Joe, the two boys are able to join a group of paraplegics who are preparing to enter the Paralympics (wheelchair sports) in Israel. They find themselves caught up in a whirl of constant activity--anything from the hundred-yard dash to competing for a place on the basketball team.
