The two scientists tests produced a baby chick large enough to be mistaken for a buzzard. And when the substance was consumed by rats they grew bigger than horses. But things really began to get out of hand when the "Food" started being fed to babies . . .

H G Wells, the master of science fiction, is my favorite author. The Food of the Gods is without a doubt as good as War of the Worlds and The Time Machine. Wow!!
