The Foreshadowing begins slowly because the author takes his time setting up the characters. However, once the real action begins as the young girl sets off to find her brother, you won't be able to put this book down. It's also interesting to note that the chapters count down backwards - because the main character can see into the future. I like to think of myself as a fairly savvy reader, but I have to admit that I didn't see this ending coming.
