If you read Dead Man Walking you really owe it yourself to read this book too. This book shares how Debbie Morris survived not only a horrendous crime committed by Robert Willie and Joe Vaccaro, but also the journey of spiritual awakening and understanding that lead to her emotional healing. This book rounds out the story of Dead Man Walking from a side that needed telling. It also is likely to provide insight for the person who is struggling with the issue of forgiveness. Not preachy or heavy-handed at all, but honest and compelling.

Absolutely could not put it down. Sad story with a great inspiring ending.
