Lady Alyssa Porter has been earning funds to live off of as posing as a Gypsie fortune teller. She and her sister had lost their parents and left destitute by their uncle. She meets Ian Fortune while telling fortunes at a party. He is unconvinced and gives her a hard time but later is upset by the way he treated her. After that many twists and turns are weaved so you never know what is going to happen.

I felt this was a good read and I could not put it down! I read it in less than 24 hours.
