I've looked through just about all the forums and any relevant threads but I don't see threads discussing eReaders like the Kindle or for folks who sell books on other sites.  Are these verbotten here or am I just not looking in the right place.

I am not a heavy duty seller, but I would love to share stories with other sellers.

If these questions are wholly inappropriate, please shoot me now.

There are a ton of threads about eReaders in various discussions. Search for terms like Kindle, Nook, etc.

It's a violation of the PBS Terms of Use to acquire books here for the purposes of reselling them, so no, you won't find too many discussions for resellers. Lots of discussions about them and lots of suspicions that people with "too picky" requestor conditions must be resellers.

Oh, all my PBS stuff is for my personal reading.  I need to pick up books and feel them and such to buy for resell.  I wouldn't feel right selling something for a profit I got here.

Club Members Thoughts is the forum where the discussions on the eReaders happen, and it happens quite often in there.

Discussions among/about resellers would probably violate the site's no advertising rules. Even the link in your signature is against the site's rules on no advertising, a link to a personal website in the Profile is the only place those should be.

No advertising is allowed on the site.

No advertising of any kind may appear anywhere on the site, including but not limited to Personal Messages, Discussion Forum posts, public profiles, forum sigs, book reviews, Eclectic Pen submissions, Book Wiki and Book Tags.

No advertising may be included with any PaperBackSwap mailiings.

PBS member addresses may not be used for mailings of any kind without the consent of the receiver.

No selling is allowed on the site.

The club is designed to swap books for credits.  No items of any kind may be offered for sale on the site, not for money or any other compensation, with the exception of Book Credits, which may be sold between members.

Okey dokey, Melanie.  Duely noted. Thanks for the very thorough and direct answer. The big font was super helpful too since my eyesight ain't what it used to be.  Cheers.

If the big font looked like I was yelling, I really wasn't! The brown is just copied out of the Help Center and retained the formatting from there.

Which other sites do you sell books on?  I bet they have forums there.  I know Amazon has discussion forums and there's a Half.com discussion board on Ebay.
