This book was a quick read, but not one of the author's best. it would be an interesting story for someone in the military.
James Patterson has once again captured all of the elements of the perfect murder-mystery; complete with humor, sadness, drama, romance, and, above all, Alex Cross's ingenious crime-solving determination. He writes his books in such a unique way, that I am able to relate to each of the characters, though in different ways. I love the relationship Alex has with Nana, and in this book, Nana's relationship with John Sampson becomes more alive and captivating. The ending is again surprising, but at least ends on a pleasant note. I picked it up and couldn't put it down, finishing it in less than a day. I can't wait to get to Book 9.
A good written fast moving book. James Patterson is one writer you can count on.
