Misdirected theme, but contains much good information
This short book is difficult for me to review because I think Hodges does a wonderful job explaining aspects of Christianity that are commonly overlooked or misunderstood. The premise that the four cups of Passover directly apply to Christians as laid out in the book I don't believe is Biblically sound. I do believe that Passover is an important holiday that Christians need to understand in all of it's Messianic significance, but taking statements made to a particular people and applying them to a people far removed in time, context, and culture I do not believe to ever a good thing. Apart from the misapplication of the four cups of promise, most of this book contains good information for believers. This is why I'm torn and have a hard time recommending the book. I do believe there is well stated information in here that will help most believers along in their journey, but the overarching theme of the book isn't warranted. Thus, I give the book an average number of stars and relay my dilemma here to you.
