My opinion of this series is that it is more good mystery than romance. I am surprised to see the romance category. Good mysteries also have more to them than kill and catch. I like the characters and find the stories intriguing.

Mother and cop, Jackie finds both instincts needed when she unearths the bodies of a woman and baby, buried in her back yard. The cop in her suspects the neighborhood of hiding secret and the mother in her fears for her own child's safety.
