Has anyone read any of Francine Rivers historical Fiction books? I've read one set and they are awesome! The stories in this set happened in Rome during the time of the gladiators and when Christians were fed to the lions. The story weaves different charactors together because their paths cross in one way or the other. The story is full of sorrow, strength, immense faith, power, betrayal. Everything! Mine's not up for trading but I highly recommend it! :)

I would definitely recommend the Lineage Of Grace Series!  Excelent retelling of the stories from the bible from the females point of view.  They are all small hardbound books less than 300 pages.  I nice diversion from the usual historical fiction I read.  I actually liked them so much I don't think i'll be swapping them again.  I'm keeping them for my library.

Here they are in order:

  1. UNVEILED---Tamar
  2. UNASHAMED--Rahab
  3. UNSHAKEN--Ruth
  4. UNSPOKEN--Bathsheeba
  5. UNAFRAID--Mary

The next biblical Fiction series I  will begin is the "Mark fo the Lion" series--3 Books:  A Voice in the Wind, An Echo in the Darkness, As Sure is the Dawn.

In regular Fiction I will read:  Redeeming Love
