I have two sets of encyclopedias - Encyclopedia Brittanica (circa 1970) & Funk & Wagnalls, plus dictionary (circa 1983). Also the Annals of America (history)-4 volumes. I hate to just throw them out. Is there anybody, anywhere, who would like them? I live on Long Island, NY. . Thanks for your time.

You might ask your high school art teacher.  Ours is doing an altered book project with hard back books and is always looking for more books.  You can also donate them to Goodwill.  I got a set there for $1.00 a few weeks ago to use in my classroom (yeah, we're cutting them up...better than throwing them away...right?).  Good luck finding a home for these.
