One frugal tip I recently learned about is http://swagbucks.com/?cmd=sb-register&rb=330554

Basically you can earn points by using their toolbar as your search engine when surfing the web. You earn Swagbucks, usually somewhere between 1-3 a day but sometimes more, just for doing something that you're doing anyway. Not a ton but it does add up over time ... and apparently you get more from referring others. Then you can redeem those Swagbucks for gift cards and prizes. I've been at it for almost 2.5 weeks and have just about enough to get a $5-ecard to Amazon, just through my normal surfing activity. I'm planning on saving up any gift cards I get to go towards holiday shoppping. It's worth a look! =)

On another post in here, someone posted about www.mypoints.com . You earn points just by reading their e-mails or buying stuff online. Right now I have enough points to get a $10 borders giftcard and some other gift cards. If you become a member of the WheelWatchers club, you can earn points and redeem them for gift cards, DVDs, CDs, Video games, video game systems, and a lot of other stuff. The details to register are on www.wheeloffortune.com .

I learned about MyPoints from the forums here as well and we've earned enough for over $50 worth of gift cards in the past few months. It is nice to have these options. =)
