I noticed this late, and I think they have had some of these books already and I missed them, but right now sony is giving away free paranormal ebooks:

1. Go to http://ebookstore.sony.com/

2. Scroll down to the bottom right

3. Click on the blue banner that says "at this most magical time of the year enjoy the gift of cool ghosts and hot vampires"

4. There will be an ebook available to download for free. This ebook changes every week so come back and try again in a few days too..

5. If you don't have a sony ereader you can still read this on your computer. You have to download the Sony Ebook library software first. Once you do, you can just open the ebook library software, click "ebook store", and you can do steps 2-4 above and it will download it to your machine.

Today (12/26/08) they have Matters of the Blood by Maria Lima available to download.

Sony is also giving away 9 free ebooks that are in a variety of genres - see "9 free ebooks" on the ebookstore homepage, near the top,  it's kind of small, and part of the first batch of offers, you have to click it and then click the picture to the right that shows up when you do.. i hope that makes sense.
