I have just finished reading "All but my Life" by Gerda Weissmann Klein - a powerful holocaust memoir. The author's story of her years as a slave laborer of the Nazis and her miraculous liberation. The writing is haunting, I couldn't lay the book down - her story will stay with me forever. I have put her two other books on my WL.
I received the book from a new PBS member who was not aware that underlining is not permitted. I let the new member know the error of her ways, but did not request my credit back because the book was in very readable condition.
In the first chapter (pages 3 - 10) there is some underlining, 3 one-word and 1 two-word margin notes, and 7 margin "stars". Other than that, the261 page paperback book is in good condition and has many more reads left in it.
There are no copies of this book in the system and four people are wishing for it. I will supply it free with any order from my bookshelf.
The ISBN is 0-8090-1580-3
