Is it still possible to friend yourself?  I used to know how to do it, but don't see how to do it now.  If I go to the member directory and find myself, the 'friend' button is missing.  Did TPTB delete that option, or am I missing something?

Can you do it from the friend page?  The Add a Friend option to enter a nickname?  I'm not willing to unfriend myself to test it.

Just out of curiosity--why would you want to? :)

I think that's the only way to send PMs to yourself, which people like to do as reminders. :)

So just talking to myself once in awhile isn't enough proof of insanity? I have to PM myself too? LOL

LOL Cheryl.  I can send myself reminder pm's, then archive them as a kind of database.  Convient way to store information I use here at PBS.

Was trying to help a friend set it up, but I've used it for so long I couldn't remember how it was done.

I send myself PMs when I do one of DG's reading Challenges.  I PM myself my reading lists and info for the challenge so it's easy for me to find.

Lists of books that I want to keep a record of.  I can send it to myself and archive it.

Mindy, I'm relieved...think if there was only a 75% similarity with yourself! LOL
