Due to the innocence of the characters, even a young girl can enjoy this book. My eleven yr. old enjoyed it and found it uplifting. She has numerous friends from an Amish community and felt that the book was true to how they live and understanding of their gentleness of spirit.

Good wholesome (smut free) reading. Recommended if you want a vacation from the real world-- escape into the world of the Amish.
