About the Author: Full Moon on White is Robert B. Thomas's first novel. Thomas did not enjoy high school. He joined the Navy two weeks after graduation, and quickly learned that he would be better off piloting the aircraft rather than washing it. He earned a B.S. in meteorology and received a commission as an officer in the United States Navy as a pilot. He left active duty in 1986 and remained a pilot in the Naval Reserves. He spent seven years with the Convair Division of General Dynamics (GD). During that time he earned a B.S. in computer science and an MBA. When GD closed the Convair Division in 1993, Thomas retired from the Naval Reserves and moved from southern California to Maine with his wife Kathryn. He presently teaches high school classes in math, physics, and chemistry. He recently began his second novel, a murder mystery tied to corporate downsizing and the effect it has on the employees who lose their jobs.« less
