One day Parker, a wealthy computer software genius, is settled in his rut, when the doorbell rings and with it, comes the news that he is a father of a 4 year old. Along for the ride, is the youngster's gorgeous aunt. A trite story line which is made into a surprisingly good novel.

Not one of her best and not one of her worse. The ending was rather rushed and the beginning dragged a little bit too long. There were a lot of repetitious thoughts throughout the books of both characters. Wished Mallery spent more time with Parker wooing Erin and less time on thoughts of why they shouldn't be together. Funny that they never visited one of the main reasons of why they shouldn't be together which was Parker was with Erin's sister. That's some major ick factor being with someone who has been with your sister.

Overall the book was okay. I definitely think some of Mallery's other books are much better.

This book was orginally published in 1996 reissued in 2006. I think it has stood the test of time!
Computer programmer, somewhat reclusive, Parker Hamilton, has no idea how much his life is about to change when Erin Ridgeway comes to visit him. He is about to learn he has a four year old daughter as the result of one night with Erin's twin, Stacey.
