Check out 1,003 Great Things About Getting Older by Patricia Marx, Ann Hodgman, Lisa Birnbach, and David Smith.......

This book takes a fun, lighted heart view of how our life changes as we get older. I recommend it to anyone middleage and older. Its a good book to read a bit here and there. It also would make a great birthday gift for those having their 40,50,60th birthdays....I give it a 5!

Thanks for the rec!  I'm collecting books for a colleague who is retiring at the end of the school year.

I also enjoyedI Feel Bad About My Neck by Nora Ephron.

Thanks, Lynn for the recommendation---sounds great!  Jan, I also loved I Feel Bad About My Neck. I especially enjoyed the chapter about purses and the one about hair!
