I got what looks like a brand spanking new copy of The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society! Isn't that a great find? I'm going to read it, then pass it on to my mom, who I think will enjoy it just based on the reviews. Then I'll pass it on via PBS!

I've actually found treasure a few times in the free bin at SBux. I try to pass it on now and then, esp. with books that have so many copies in the PBS system that they'd just sit around on my shelf for ages. And I get 3 mag subs- Allure, InStyle and Lucky- and every month after I read my copy, I put it in the free bin. So it's really fun when I get something back, like today!

What fun !!! I am quite green w/ jealousy & I'm quite certain Linda is, too ! One tiny note re: Guernsey ... I will not be surprised to find that it makes it to your keeper shelf or perhaps your mom's ... to be treasured and to have on hand to loan to other family & friends ... it's just that kind of book.
