The engine that is driving the current warming trend is variations in the Sun's solar cycles. Rather than worry about the warming, the real concern should be what will happen as a result. The answer may be a surprise. In an ironic turn, global warming may actually be the precursor of the arrival of another ice age! If that happens, it will not occur over many years.
