I'll admit it: I got this for the Alastair Reynolds short story "Stroboscopic" (which isn't bad - not great, but not bad). All in all, its not a bad little collection. I particularly liked "The Dead", "Game of the Century" and "The Holy Stomper vs. the Alien Barrel of Death" (for the grins at least).
