Got it from the library and enjoyed it so much I put it on my wish list.
I agree with the above reviewer when she said, "The way the H broke the heroine's heart... well that didn't seem nearly as traumatic as it should have been."
Either way it's a great sports romance, and I absolutely love football players. So it's going on my keeper shelf.

Pretty Hot book!, but there are a few moments when It's hard to like either H or h. And the h doesn't seem all that adept at her job (if she was really a total pro at her job, I think she'd understand that the way the media represents people is often misleading, but instead she chooses to believe everything she hears). And the way the H broke the heroine's heart... well that didn't seem nearly as traumatic as it should have been... I get the impression that Ms. Andre's a angst wimp!
Over all if you're looking for some heat with a sexy sports hero and don't want to bother with a well developed story, this one's for you!

This is a very good book by Bella Andre. It is sexy, but not too over the top kinky. Ty Calhoun is a rich and famous football player who has just won the Superbowl. When his image needs cleaning up, the owner of his football team contacts image consultant Julie Spencer. Unfortunately, Julie hates Ty due to the way he took her virginity in high school and then gave her panties to his friends. Ty has always regretted his actions and loved Julie from afar. Julie has also never felt about anyone the way she felt about Ty. Julie can't turn the gig down since it's such a high paying job and Ty can't wait to convince Julie of the fact that they're meant to be. This was a very sexy read with emotions. The only flaw was the fact that Julie never gave Ty a chance to explain himself in the past. Otherwise..hot, hot, hot.
I'm utterly surprised by criticisms of this book. This is a fun read. These two met at age 18.... Feelings are sensitive at that age. Well written story, quick read.
Hot and steamy! A nice quick light read with good characters.
I really liked that Ty not only loved and was good at his job, but at other things as well. The same goes for Julie. I did think Julie quickly jumped to her own conclusions and didn't give the other party a chance to explain.
They got together super fast. I would have liked more exploration of their childhoods (and how it shaped the adults they are), I thought that part was settled very quickly. Instead, what was brought up repeatedly (in cause my brain wasn't working), was Julie's wealth and privilege and Ty's being from a trailer park.
What got super annoying was reading how hot Ty is and how women just can't help themselves when around him- ".."quivering masses of hormones." His supreme hotness was brought up, at least in the first half, EVERY FREAKING CHAPTER!" If I was playing a drinking game, I'd be drunk and passed out easily by chapter 10.
