Is this series considered Fantasy, Young Adult, or something else?  I want to request several and need to know which genre to post to.

It's what I would almost call "Children's Fantasy." Loosely YA I guess, but (although I've only read the first one so far) I thought it was a little "young" to be considered even YA. Anyone else have a comment whose read further on?

I would definitely say children's fantasy.  The later books are more Young Adult as the main character is getting older.  There hasn't been anything in the series so far though that I would be uncomfortable reading to my younger son (he's only 2 and wouldn't sit still for it, but I am just making a point).

A good series, but the character doesn't deal with many young adult issue until later in the series, and even then it's very kid friendly.

I have been waiting forever for Lord Sunday!  I am so eager to hear the end of the the story :-)
