I just PMed somebody, and got the "waiting for paperbackswap.com"  thing.   I have been getting these quite regularly, and it is not my isp or hi speed internet, since I can get to just about any page on the internet "in the blink of an eye" while this is happening.

I got quite a number of these last night while I was listing books as well.

Does anyone know what is going on with the bottlenecks/slow times/gateway timeouts?

I remember this was brought up a while back before the changeover when we were offered standard memberships....I remember this being an issue ...... and I haven't noticed a huge improvement.  :)

I am using chrome if that makes a difference, but I don't think it does, since I use the SwapaDVD and SwapaCD sites several times and week and do not encounter this problem at all.   And ditto, other websites and forums.  So it seems very specific to PBS

I'm still having problems especially with posts in the forums but also with posting books.

I'd suggest using the contact us button but the last couple time I did so I received a somewhat surly response to one (about delays shipping my marketplace order) and no response to the other which was about problems with the site and customer dissatisfaction.

I experienced a timeout and used the contact us button at the bottom of the page right after it happened.  Did what the post in the forum CMT asked me to do, and (knock on wood) I haven't received any timeouts since.
