A Gathering of Saints
Author: Robert Lindsey
An astonishing report on one of this century's most puzzling, cunningly executed crimes. A tale of murder and a scheme to topple a vast religious empire, A Gathering of Saints takes us inside the powerful hierarchy of the Mormon faith, where history is sacred, faith is never meant to be questioned, and spies are commonplace.

Glad I knew the story already. This book was Very slanted.
Lindsey's an interesting writer, but often assumed what people might have said without separating his imagined version from either fact or the person's usual persona. He seemed to have bought someone's conspiracy theory; confused some of the victims as co-conspirators.

I was living there at that time, knew several of the people involved.
The authors of the other books on the same frauds and murders told the story more accurately, less sensational.
