579 pages, translated by Patrick O'Brien. Pretty interesting account, I don't know if it was the problem of the translation, but it was very difficult to know who was saying what to whom. Quite often, the author/translator used nicknames (DeGaulle was known sometimes as "The Constable", sometimes as "The General", people in the resistance were referred to alternatively with their given name and their resistance name), so it was sort of like reading a Russian novel, at times. Still, a very thought-provoking biography.
