Gayle M Haggard (born April 8, 1957) is the wife of former American evangelical preacher Ted Haggard, known as Pastor Ted to the congregations he served. Ted Haggard is the founder and former pastor of the New Life Church in Colorado Springs, Colorado; a founder of the Association of Life-Giving Churches; and was leader of the National Association of Evangelicals (NAE) from 2003.
In 1978, Gayle Alcorn married Ted Haggard. The couple has five children: Christy (1981), Marcus (1983) (founder and former pastor of Boulder Street Church, Colorado Springs), Jonathan (1987), Alex (1990), and Elliott (1993).
