I usually won't leave a negative review unless I've read the whole book because I don't feel like it's fair to judge if you haven't made it all the way through. I just couldn't make it this time, so this is based on the first 100 pages only. I could not like the heroine! Magically transported through time, helped by generous people, all she can do is complain and whine! The author lost me on page 71 with the phrase "1816 sucked ass." Really? You have the chance to visit another era and that's what you think? If you're looking for a good time-travel romance, read Jude Deveraux's Knight in Shining Armor instead.
I love this book. I usually don't like historical romance but this one was great. Now this book is more for a younger set because there is a lot of bad words. But that what makes it funny. I though be send 200 years in the past was handled a little different here than in most books she didn't want to be there and as well as anyone would be there times were very different than now. But the story between Jamie and mike aka Micah was wonderfully and funny. Plus there a little bit of a mystery and mayhem with Micah ex mistress. Please try this book and a little bit hard but you love it at the end as I didn't I cant wait for more book by Gina Lamm and cant wait to read her next geek girls book..

Wasn't sure what to expect, but this turned out to be loads of lighthearted fun! Loved the developing relationship between Micah and Jamie, all the steamy sexy bits, and the mystery surrounding the magical wardrobe portal. Looking forward to the rest in the series. 4 stars.

This was a cute time travel book in which Jamie falls through a mirror and ends up in Regency England. Micah is an Earl in need of a bride & she isn't what he needs. You are wishing for everything to work out, but wondering how it will happen.
