I am sailing through this,  of course I just order the next one Lord of the Bow.   Temujin is going to go all barbarian horde on Eeluk the drunken lecherous fool! 

I was really stunned when Tenujin killed  Bekter.  But you knew it was coming.

I was taken aback too Jerelyn. I thought they would be much older when that came. Looking on-line it said they had always scuffled and then during a hunting trip Bekter lost the fight.

Oh boy is this good!  Who else cried when he rescued Borte??  Seeing such tenderness in the middle of all the cruelty made it stand out that much more.   Now that I've actually gotten some uninterrupted chunks of time to read, I'm flying through it.   Only about 100 pages left.

I did Christa.  I think Iggulden really does this so well.  Shows the brutal uncompromising man but the tender man who loved his family.
