I enjoyed this book VERY much! Era Zistel, who lives in NY City, acquires a cabin in the Catskills and, to her delight, many animals. As her menagerie grows, her visits to her little cabin increase until finally she, her husband, and animals all move there permanently. Zistel writes about her life with these interesting animals-the happy, funny times and sometimes, the sad times. A quick, gentle read. Considered an adult book, but I think older kids (ages 10-12 or so) who love animals would like this book as well.
