Hello, 

I'm just wondering if there's away to get an e-mail when someone requests a book from you.  Apparently, I missed a lot of swaps because I didn't log on to PBS, and although the requests were in "my account," I never got an e-mail.

I have yahoo e-mail, and it is set to accept PBS.  I get other e-mails from PBS.

I don't have any boxes checked off in the section of settings saying "check off the e-mails you DON'T wish to receive."

Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

I also have a yahoo account and don't recall not getting request notifications. If you are receiving other emails from PBS, it doesn't make sense that you would not have gotten the request notifications.  It doesn't answer your question, but one way to avoid missing future requests is simply to log in and check your account at least once during a 5-day period.

Check your blocked senders list. I don't know if PBS works the same way, but on one site I've been a part of they have slightly different mailing addresses for certain emails. So when I accidentally blocked one, I would still receive the others.

EDIT: I figured it out!  Thanks :0)  There was a pbs address in the spam filter. I unchecked it.  Hope it works, now !

Have you looked at your Club Communications?  it's in the yellow bar on the My Account page.  If the emails aren't in there, it may be a glitch in the system that PBS isn't sending them to you, in which case you should let the team know via 'contact us' or 'feedback'.  If the emails are there, then it's probably a problem with your email account.  Have you looked in your spam box?  Just because you get some emails from PBS doesn't necessarily mean some aren't being diverted to spam if they're sent from different addresses (I may just be making this up, I don't really know how spam filters work :) ).  Hope you're able to figure this out.
