This is a lovely book about Chipmunks AND Beavers. It contains a lot of photographs, illustrations, and detailed information about these two animals. The larger-print text is written in an intelligent tone, suitable for adults as well as for children. Each of the 2 sections also contains a detailed table of contents, an index, and a list of "special words" with simple explanations. This near-60-year-old very much enjoyed finding out more info about these two of nature's children.
