My husband says this is a great time travel western - very unusual story and as he likes both westerns and time travel he enjoyed it very much he said.
From the back cover: Buck Davis, a half Indian, is marshall of Red Creek, Texas. The time setting is in 1994. A woman named Courtney Waters enters his office. She looks exactly like the Indian woman he met six months earlier in his "dream."
On impulse, Buck asks if her Indian name is "Little Fawn" and she says yes. She has come to him to solve a murder that took place over a hunder years ago in this very town.
Buck begins to relate to her his "dream" experience of traveling back in time to when the town wa truly wild. He believes he was called from the future to help solve the murder of a woman whos spirit contacts him from the past.
This is a story of adventure, suspense and romance and murder as Buck travels through the past, present and future.
