I think it began with episodes that neatly wrapped up at the end of every hour.   It has gone beyond that although one of the "easy crossovers" are still thrown in occasionally.   I think that they do that so when one of the darker more personal episodes airs it seems even more sinister.   I think that the whole tone of the series really changed for the better when the storyline (trying not to give anything away!) was sort of revolving around Aisha Tyler's character and her situation.   I also like Jay Mohr and Camryn Manheim as additions to the cast.

I think if you get through the initial sappier storylines from the first season you'll find that the show improves.

I wasn't into it at first but now it's become a regular for me. Last night's show (season finale) was just awesome. It  gave more insight than all the rest of the shows into Melinda and it was kind of startling.

They left a definite cliffhanger though that was more thought provoking than catastrophic. It's kept me wondering .... and I have to wait until next season!

I don't understand why anyone wouldn't like Ghost Whisper...   The story line is very true to life.  Honestly if you want to know how Psychic/Medium uses their gift then watch the show.  Of course being written by James Van Praagh of course it would be true.

Hi all,

Having reviewed the show for Ghost! Magazine in my column, "Ghosts on the Small Screen", initially I wasn't too impressed with the show (and I even told Van Praagh this). I do have to say, though, that it grew on me, especially after having the chance to interview Van Praagh about the show, it's origins, and how it was conceived.

I have tear copy of the interview somewhere, if anyone is interested in reading it.

It almost always has a happy ending, if that's what you mean.  I like it, and watch it regularly, although Medium is my favorite.

My daughter and I love Ghost Whisperer.  It is fun because it is a show that we can sit together and watch.  I also like it because she is 10yrs old and when Belinda and her husband get together it is very mild.

Its interesting reading these comments.  My DH is a HUGE fan.  I thought the first season was much better than the latest one.  I'm so tired of her wide eyed Ohhh, look what's happening (as if it weren't expected).

And don't even get me started on her wardrobe!

Ani-that's so funny because my mom always asks me "Do you wear that stuff to bed EVERY night?" Just once I'd like to see her go to bed in a tshirt or flannel gown and without a full face of makeup! :)  However, I do love that show and it's the only show I make sure I don't miss (it's on my DVR scheduler).

I never got into Moonlight.  I thought I read that it's been cancelled? Is that true?

Yeah Moonlight got canceled. I thought it was ok but I also thought it had been done before. Seriously Forever Knight was very similar, *whispers as to not provoke the moonlight fans* and better.

I enjoyed Moonlight.  I thought it could have been better (never saw Forever Knight) but it was better than Ghost Whisperer.

My favourite thing regarding her clothes is how she's always got something sleeveless and plunging on, while wearing a heavy coat and carrying an umbrella. If I have on a heavy coat and carrying a brolly, I wouldn't have something sleeveless on underneath!  *rolleyes*
