This is a fun book for kids with directions for making paper daffodils, a pirate fridge magnet, salt dough recipe, candle making, lip balm, sugar scrub, etc. This useful volume is divided into six categoriesbric-a-brac, stationery, scented gifts, floral garden gifts, accessories, and edible treatswith 7 to 10 projects in each. Examples are magnets, bookmarks, gift wrap, birdfeeder, glasses case, and cookies. The book lists suggested age ranges for each activity, and an introduction explains the materials, provides safety tips, and recommends adult supervision. Each project includes a detailed list of materials needed, step-by-step instructions, approximate execution time, and photos of the construction steps and the finished product and any variations. The items are appealing to children and age appropriate. Both the written and visual instructions are clear and easy to follow. A great addition to craft collections.
