My introduction to Rosemary Clooney was with "White Christmas." Long after that, I saw her episode of "ER" with her nephew George, and the song she sang to close the episode ("Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas") became my favorite. This book is a WONDERFUL, thorough insight into her entire life, written in her own words. (Includes a complete discography at the end for those who want to hear what she's been talking about.)

This was ghost-written by Ms. Barthel and I would like to think she truly captured Rosemarys' spirit. I learned quite a bit about the music industry during the 40-50's. Interesting life.

This book was very good. Rosemary Clooney tells her story in simple to understand language. She is very open and holds nothing back. There were places in this story that I laughed out loud and places were I wanted to cry. Through out the story Ms. Clooney uses song lyrics to describe how she is feeling and what she is remembering. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who loves to read about strong women.
