Has anyone read this? I just finished it. I liked it a lot. I was worried when I was very close to the ending that Lansens wouldn't be able to wrap it up, but I think she did a good job. I would like to har people's thoughts on it. Thanks. Dawn |

I heard a lot of people liked this one but I just couldn't get through it..... sometimes I think it's just the mood I'm in while I'm reading, but I just got bored with this one. |

I enjoyed it a lot-- I thought that Lansens did a good job of using the two voices of the girls and making each unique.
I also enjoyed the midwestern setting, and the family members.
Excellent story, IMO :)

I liked it although it wasn't what I expected. There were parts I thought were a bit too contrived, but overall, I enjoyed it. |

I just read this book this past week and I really enjoyed it. I was worried about how the story would end and was glad she ended it as she did (I don't want to give too much away for those who haven't read it yet). I liked the way the story was told my both sisters and I thought it was interesting that each sister saw a different side to the things that happened to them. I've been recommending this one to my friends. :) |

I was thinking the same thing, Connie. I kept thinking "oh, I hope she doesn't end it a certain way" and thankfully she didn't. I liked the different voices of the girls, but I also agree with L that some parts were too contrived. Dawn Last Edited on: 9/6/08 3:02 PM ET - Total times edited: 1 |

Did the story bring to mind the Schappell twins (Lori and Dori) to anyone else? They are actual craniopagus twins living in Pennsylvania. They have very distinct personalities...one is a singer and goes by the name Reba and they do have a special chair they use because Reba is so much smaller. I kept thinking of them as I read the book. |
