I was so looking forward to reading this book and it just fell flat for me. The relationship among the three friends just felt off to me and not realistic. They were supposedly best friends for 20 years yet there was so much anger, bitterness and resentment. Not like any friendship I could ever relate to. I couldn't connect with any of the characters and the story was so drug out. I read 3/4's of it, then skipped to the last 20 pages and don't feel like I missed anything. And nothing got better. The ending was just sad and still empty.
