This book is about Marlene Dietrich, Greta Garbo, Tallulah Bankhead, the men and women they loved, and how they're all tied together! I stuck with the book because some parts were interesting, and I liked the "story", but I feel the author tried to include too much information and at times it seemed really technical.

Examines the connections between two of the most notorious actresses of Hollywood's glory decades between two wars. Marlena Dietrich and Greta Garbo shared lovers and often sparred for the same roles, but maintained that they had never met. McLellan digs for the truth of this and other intimate connections.
