Written in a way that made me feel as I was living it. Dottie and Mary are best friends, growing up just blocks from each other in Brighton, England.

The book starts when they're both about 6 and continues for about 20 years.

We learn their likes, dislikes and watch them grow into young women. Theirs are not easy lives as they both come from poor families but they don't let that get in the way of much.

Through thick and thin they have each other...until they no longer do.

Visit See Saw Lane and learn what happens to the girls.
