Giving Thanks is a beautiful book, which reminds us that we should appreciate nature. Nature does not belong to us and therefore we need to be mindful about littering and what we buy because eventually everything we buy becomes garbage. For example when someone throws a cigarette onto the grass, that person is littering the environment and home of various bugs and insects. I believe this book should be read by adults and children a few times a year because it reminds us that we share this Earth with many other creatures. We may not see our animal neighbors all the time buy we live together with them and all of our actions create a change in this world, good or bad.
